Attorneys at Sundeen Salinas & Pyle represented 29 individuals living in 15 units at a mobile home park alleging that the families and their children were subjected to a hostile living environment based on their race/national origin and familial status, due to unlawful verbal and other conduct by the landlord's resident managers. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the tenant finding that the landlord was discriminating based on race (among other things). Afterwards, an affirmative lawsuit on behalf of six of the units at the building, alleging racial discrimination, resulted in a settlement of $450,000.
