Mr. Aguilar’s practice focuses on housing and employment rights. Mr. Aguilar joined Sundeen Salinas & Pyle in January 2008 from the Eviction Defense Center, a nonprofit law corporation that serves over 1,200 indigent and low-income clients and completes approximately 10 to 15 jury trials per year with a near perfect record of success. Mr. Aguilar gained extensive litigation experience from his years in the trenches as a staff attorney with the Eviction Defense Center.

In 2007 Mr. Aguilar was awarded the Jack Berman Award of Achievement for Distinguished Service to the Profession and the Public by the California Young Lawyers Association and the State Bar of California.

Mr. Aguilar is a graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law where he was the Executive Editor of the Race and Ethnic Ancestry Law Journal.

Mr. Aguilar is a bilingual attorney and the son of immigrants from Mexico.
