Jazmin GarciaLegal Assistant
Jazmin Garcia graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Spanish Language & Literature. Throughout her undergraduate journey she interned and served as mentor for the Bay Area Urban Debate League, which provides policy debate for inner city students. Ms. Garcia also volunteered at East Bay Sanctuary Covenant assisting individuals that flee from many Latin American countries in the hopes of receiving asylum in the U.S.
Before working with Sundeen & Salinas, Ms. Garcia was the Policy and Legislation intern the League of United Latin American Citizens in D.C. Seeing the many injustices that take place in Oakland and being a first generation graduate has largely influenced her passion for social justice and the law. She hopes to earn a J.D. in the near future and practice law to help her community.
Ms. Garcia is fluent in Spanish.
