Moira K. TescherLegal Assistant
Moira Tescher graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Social Work from Gordon College, a liberal arts school north of Boston. During her undergraduate career, she conducted small studies in social research on topics such as religion and subjective well-being, opinions toward LGBT+ students, and the function of marriage for the modern woman. In her free time, Ms. Tescher was a part of a small group of students that protested for the rights of LGBT+ students and facilitated community dialogue and education. When she wasn’t protesting, Ms. Tescher worked at Pure Pastry, a small, women-owned and women-led organic pastry company that remains dear to her heart.
Before joining Sundeen & Salinas, Ms. Tescher was an investigations and paralegal intern at the San Francisco Office of the Public Defender. There, she developed an interest in legal work for the benefit of those who need it most here in the bay area.
Ms. Tescher has a passionate vision for all communities to thrive in a spirit of self-determination and shared liberation. She aspires to become a community organizer and facilitate the empowerment of ordinary people to protect, lead, and strengthen their own communities.
